I think music is brilliant and goes straight to the heart.
The show tells a very good and powerful story with really beautiful music – I should know as we have seen it eleven times!

The band parts bore little relation to the vocal score and were withdrawn for hire after I complained! An awful show – but there were lots of British musicals at that time that were terrible: Joey, Joey for example! And did you ever see Troubadour?

Dreary, dreary piece with some fine music. I sat through it several times (to see if it was right fir Australia.. answer NO!) and only the socialistically devoted were enthused.
