		<description><![CDATA[My Father was Ivor&#039;s best friend. He painted all this shows. Even the First one The Rat My father also painted 12 shows at Drury Lane. In those days the artist was never mentioned. Hi name was Thomas James Lake. He took the Schonberg off in the 1st World War where he was a Raginmental Sargent Major in France. He had me at 58 and died when I was 16. His nickname was Long Tom as he was very tall. He as a young Man worked with Harker and there is signatures on his family on the wall. In glass. My Father painted all the Black Out Curtians and I have one framed. Now I am in financial difficulty stuck in South Africa and I need money to move back home to Leatherhead where Stage Scenery was.  at 83 I really need some lluck.]]></description>

I am thinking of Julie Andrews, Maria Friedman, Barbara Cook and Teresa Stratas - and perhaps Dorothy Kirsten, Beverly Sills and Kiri Te Kanawa; and even (perhaps even more) Peggy Lee, Jo Stafford and Rosemary Clooney.]]></description>
