Good heavens! THIRTY-ONE Traviate???? Why? But it doesn't seem like a log jam at the top... there are a lot of fresh productions of old, new and interesting works coming out in German theatres. More than perhaps anywhere else in the world... but, yes, we could certainly do with a couple of dozen Traviate less. Not to mention Fledermice and Widows. An interesting glance ... but Michael, MAMMA MIA and PHANTOM OF THE OPERA are not Broadway musicals. The originated respectively at the Prince Edward and Her Majesty's Theatres, London!
